Artistic Seasons-Interpretations
Do you remember, when you were listening to the sound of the ocean for the first time?
When you modeled your first snowball and astoundingly
blew holes into those wonderful iceflowers on the windowpane?
When you were smelling your first flower, the first mushroom, the soil of a forest,
a freshly-hayed meadow?
All these moods and views are woven together with the everlasting
circle of the seasons - and will lead elementary to overwhelming sensual experiences.
In between all centuries artists have tried to catch those moods with paintings,
poems and music - and doing that they shared their feelings with other people.
So why should doll art differ from that? It couldn't leave me behind !
So I have created these allegories of the seasons
and designed the clothings to suit to each element. I didn't spare any material,
no costs and no hard work avoiding to make "just any" doll -
therefore instead inviting the UKL - collector and doll lover to explore new
the circle of nature under my attendance, switch off all-day-life, to dream...
and perhaps roam with for a while.
You will feel sunshine on rainy days, a tickling in the belly,
perhaps you'll also feel a deep desire to stay at such a peaceful place.
I like to invite you to hold silent chats with the figures for yourself.

let yourself go and enjoy!
Ute Kase Lepp has created season doll scenes since her childhood.
She has decided to make these dolls not only as unicates or small series
but also as strong limited manufacture dolls for the first time.
